Marios N. Avraamides

I'm a 4th year graduate student in the Department of Psychogy, doing my Ph.d in Cognitive Psychology. I have received a BA in Psychology from the University of Texas at Ausin, and a BA in Education from the University of Athens, Greece. I got an MSc in Psychology at Penn State. I've been working as a research asssistant in the School of IST since the Spring of 2000. My current research in Psychology focuses on how people conceptualize the space around their body. Other research interests include working memory and computational theories of learning. In IST, I'm currently working on a evaluating an interface that is developed by SOAR Technology for use with Navy pilots. Non-academic interests include watching football (AKA soccer), playing the FIFA game on the PC, and listening to trance music.
