FAQ for the SECOND EUROPEAN CONFERENCE ON COGNITIVE MODELLING (ECCM-98)

Nottingham, England, April 1-4, 1998

I was wondering if you could tell me what the weather is like in early April. Does it rain much? Would it be a pleasant time to see some of the rest of England, Scotland, or Ireland?

At that time quite variable. Could snow, rain, sleet, or be warmin the high 60's, all in the same week if nott two days. It is considered pleasant after you've been here, for it won't do any of them very much or for very long. It is also quieter than summer at that time, less toursits. Scotland might be a bit rough, but passable, bring a sweater and gortex, Ireland doesn't have much of the extremes. generally, GB doesn't have the swings as the US or the continent has.
