Notes for tutorials

Notes and bits on APA manual of style How to read a book. Seems like a good idea.

A GUIDE TO JOB SEARCH ON THE INTERNET - A Researcher's guide to
Academic and Non-Academic Job Resources on the Internet

Updated and available on the web at
     http://www/strath.ac.uk/Departments/Careers/guide/

     The Guide:
     * gives full web address details for each resource
     * evaluates the information available at each site
     * includes comments from contract research staff
     * includes a wide range of useful information about job hunting on the
Internet, including how to write an electronic CV and how to apply for
     jobs electronically
     * gives a brief guide on how to access the World Wide Web
     * includes a wide range of sites likely to be of interest to contract
researchers, ranging from sources of academic jobs and research grants
to advertising agencies, mailbases and professional societies.

Although some of the information has a Scottish bias there is much
that relates to the UK as a whole. Some of the information will also
be useful for other contract staff looking for work.
