RUI on Mac OS 10.13, 10.14, and perhaps higher
Getting RUI to run on Mac OS 10.13 and 10.14 is possible.
Under "System Preferences/Security & Privacy/", you have to
1. unlock the ability to make changes by clicking on the picture of the lock and typing in your password when asked.
2. click on the privacy tab in that dialogue.
3. then click on accssibility.
4. then you have add the terminal as a app that is allowed to control your device. this may involve finding the Termain app in the Applications/Utilities folder, and adding it.
5. then checked the the box for Terminal to "Allow the apps below to control your computer."
From there, it was simply a matter of double-clicking the "runrui.command" file that was bundled with the zip of RUI. That spawned a terminal that prompts you to press control+r to start logging, and control+s to stop logging. Courtney Cole and I did some typing and the log saved successfully to her Desktop.
